General Manager, and Lead Tripper, Tom Block shares 5 of the most exciting things on the docket for our New york City Trippers:
Rodgers and Hammerstein’s timeless classic returns to Broadway directed by three-time Tony-winner, Jack O’Brien with choreography by New York City Ballet’s Justin Peck. The production stars Renee Fleming in her first-ever appearance in a Broadway musical and Tony-nominee Joshua Henry from Hamilton.
4. THE 4-STAR SOFITEL HOTEL
The Travel Trippers will be staying at the 4-star SOFITEL New York located on West 44th Street. This luxurious hotel has walk-in showers and tubs and an excellent restaurant where breakfast will be served daily.
3. MY FAIR LADY
Lincoln Center’s production directed by seven-time Tony nominee, Bartlett Sher. The production stars Lauren Ambrose from the recent revival of Awake and Sing! and Harry Hadden-Paton from Downton Abbey.
2. THE BROOKLYN MUSEUM OF ART
We will visit the Brooklyn Museum of Art to see a special exhibit Rodin: The Body in Bronze, which is part of the worldwide, 100-year recognition of the famous sculptor’s death.
