Box Office Information

163 3rd Street N
St. Petersburg, FL 33713

Monday – Friday: 10am – 6pm
Performance Days: 2 hours before curtain

Our online box office is open 7 days a week, 24 hours a day.

Performances begin promptly. We recommend you arrive 20-30 minutes prior to curtain, especially if you have tickets at Will Call. While you wait for the play to begin you can enjoy our cocktail and wine bar. Beverages are allowed in the theatre.

Due to the configuration of our theatre late seating is very distracting to the performers and audience members, therefore we cannot guarantee seating for latecomers. Late seating will be at the discretion of the house manager. Latecomers may have to watch on a video monitor in the lobby until intermission. Patrons who leave the theatre during a performance cannot be guaranteed re-seating during the performance.

There is a $2 per ticket service charge on telephone and online ticket purchases (waived for subscribers who purchase by phone). There is no service charge for tickets purchased in person at the box office.

Refund & Exchange Policy

All sales are final and there are no refunds. If you are a subscriber and the tickets in question were purchased as part of a subscription package, they may be exchanged up to 24 hours prior to the scheduled performance. If you are unable to use your tickets at the last minute, you may turn them in as a contribution to American Stage any time prior to the start of the performance. The value of the donated tickets is tax-deductible and acknowledged by mail. Tickets for past performances cannot be considered a donation.

We want to fill our house!

American Stage does not offer advisories about subject matter, as sensitivities vary from person to person. If you have any questions about content or age-appropriateness please contact the box office at 727-823-7529

Bringing Children to the Theatre

We love introducing young persons to live theatre. However, some of our productions include mature subject matter and/or language that may be inappropriate for children. Adults are ultimately the best judge of what is right for their young ones. Please inquire with us whenever you’re thinking of bringing children to a performance. Children five and under, including babies in laps will not be permitted at performances.

Wheelchair space is available by notifying the Box Office when purchasing tickets. An elevator is located inside main entrance. We are happy to offer wheelchair accessible parking, accessible restroom facilities, and assistive listening devices. Contact the Box Office or see the House Manager for more information.

Displaying your valid disabled parking permit will allow you to park at City metered spaces for FREE, for as long as your event requires, including those posted with time limit signs (green signs).
Please note: this does not apply to loading zones or otherwise restricted parking signage (red signs).

Listening System: Theatre goers may enjoy the free infrared listening system from any seat.

American Stage in the Park performs outside at Demens Landing Park. Due to the unpredictable nature of Florida weather, performance cancellations of our outdoor productions tend to be last-minute decisions.  We make every effort not to cancel a performance prematurely if there is a chance that the weather might clear.  If light rain makes choreography unsafe for our performers, a concert-version of the production may be performed. If a performance must be canceled due to weather, your ticket will be honored as a “rain check” to another performance. Cash refunds will not be provided. Rain checks will not be offered to performances canceled after intermission.
