5. GETTING MARRIED
Edith and Cecil were supposed to tie the knot, but a pamphlet has arrived warning them of the dangers of getting married.
Bernard Shaw’s timeless comedy demonstrates him at his best as he asks the questions that even now, we would rather ignore – while still making us laugh our socks off.
4. THE LADYKILLERS
By Graham Linehan – Is it really so hard to kill one little old lady? Based on one of the best-loved British films of all time, this comedy tour-de-force is set in post-World War II London where five oddball crooks pose as an amateur string quintet in order to rent a room from that little old lady.
