ANGELA BOND (Director of Development) has spent her entire adult life in the professional theatre, at first as a performer, more recently a director, and now in development. Angela graduated from Rollins College with a degree in theatre and business in 1981 and spent her first two years out of college in
the administration of Pennsylvania Stage Company, a now-defunct LORT D theater in Allentown, Pennsylvania. From there she moved to New York City to pursue a performance career and became an active member of American Globe Theatre, for whom she also did development work. In 1999, her husband at the time
accepted a position in the technical department of American Stage Theatre
Company, precipitating her move to Florida. She spent seven years in the
development department of the Arts Center in downtown St. Petersburg before moving on
to Bayfront Health Foundation in 2006. She has kept her hand in performing and
directing from time to time and is thrilled to “come home” to the theatre community. She is a member of Hyde Park Methodist Church where she does
volunteer work with the drama ministry.

SHANNON S. ORRELL (Development/Marketing Associate) is a true Florida
native, born and raised right here in Central Florida. She has migrated up and down
the East Coast from Atlanta to upstate New York but has finally returned
home to raise her family. Shannon and her husband, Andy, live in St. Petersburg
with their beautiful children, Madison and Nathaniel. She is thrilled to be
working with the amazing staff and crew at American Stage.

ADRIN ERRA PUENTE (Costume Shop Manager) is a native to Texas and received
her Bachelor's Degree in Design and Technical Theatre from the University of
North Texas. She has been designing and freelancing in the St. Pete. area for
the last four years and has worn many hats for the American Stage, including
Props Master, Scenic Painter, Scene Shop Assistant, Cutter/Draper, and
Costume Designer. She costume designed last season's Sleuth and Souvenir and this
season's Tuna Christmas. Her favorite design at the American Stage has been
9 Parts of Desire but Tuna is running a close second. She is a recent member
of the Pinellas Weavers Guild. Before St. Pete, she was responsible for
redesigning Chillicothe, OH's 2004 season of Tecumseh! She would like to thank
God for Gillius and all the love in her interesting life.

TIMON BROWN (Technical Director) is pleased to be working at American Stage.
He returned to American Stage two years ago after a two year hiatus, during
which he served as the technical director at the Canterbury School of
Florida. Previous to that, Timon served as ATD and master carpenter at American
Stage. He wants to thank his wonderful wife, Maresi, for all her love and
support. They are proud parents of four-year-old scene-shop assistant Henry, and are
thrilled to welcome their daughter, Maria, born on Sept 4th.

ANDY ORRELL (Director of Marketing) has been Director of Marketing at
Theatre in the Square in Atlanta, Communications Director for the Gates Chili
School District in New York, senior accounts executive at the EPR Group, and a
member of the marketing team at the Williamstown Theatre Festival in
Massachusetts.

CRYSTAL SOLANA BRYAN* (Box Office Manager) is
thrilled to be Stage managing again at American Stage and honored to be working on
the final Mainstage production in our old home. She has worked with American
Stage lately on Hamlet, The Big Bang, Sleuth, Gem of the Ocean, Casa Blue,
the last moments in the life of Frida Khalo, Othello, Three Days of Rain,
Coronado, The War of the Worlds, I Am My Own Wife, The Drawer Boy, and The Taming
of the Shrew. Crystal served as choreographer for Stones in His Pockets and
stage managed the 2003 School Tour, Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day. Thanks to all the red-headed women in my life for their
encouragement & support.

TODD OLSON*+ (Producing Artistic Director)
is a recent graduate of Bank of America’s Neighborhood Excellence Leadership
Program. He has directed over 120 plays, musicals, and operas, including My
Way: A Musical Tribute to Frank Sinatra, (which he co-created) at the Actor's
Theatre of Louisville, and American Stage. As an author, Todd’s My Way has
enjoyed over 300 productions worldwide. For American Stage Todd has directed
several plays which have been recognized by Creative Loafing as “Best of the Bay” Awards for “Top-10 Productions of the Year” and “Best Director,” including Stones in His Pockets, A Moon for the Misbegotten, Much Ado About Nothing, and Anna in the Tropics. Other American Stage credits include Suddenly Last
Summer, Crowns, Three Days of Rain, The Exonerated (with Sandy Duncan and
Antonio Tarver), I Am My Own Wife, Casa Blue, the last moments in the life of
Frida Kahlo, Dennis Lehane’s Coronado, The Pirates of Penzance, Pinter’s
Betrayal, and Dinner with Friends, the highest-attended production in American
Stage’s history. Original works having made their world premiere at American
Stage include I Left My Heart, and Casa Blue, the last moments in the life of
Frida Kahlo. In 2007 American Stage was voted "Best Theatre Company" in the
Tampa Bay-area by both Tampa Bay Magazine and The Weekly Planet. Todd received
his M.F.A. from The University of North Carolina, and is a graduate from the
Institute for Advanced Theatre Training at Harvard where he took classes with
David Mamet, Peter Sellars, Andrei Serban, Robert Scanlan, Robert Woodruff,
Anna Deveare Smith, and Robert Brustein, among others. While at Harvard Todd
directed productions of Cervantes’ Judge of the Divorce Court, Brecht’s The
Informer, Pinter’s Betrayal, Chekhov’s The Seagull, and Shakespeare’s
Coriolanus and The Winter’s Tale. He also assistant directed In the Jungle of Cities
(for Robert Woodruff), The Bacchae (for Francois Rochaix), and Woyzeck (for
Marcus Stern). He was a Teaching Fellow at Harvard, and has taught classes at Vanderbilt, Boston University, University of North Carolina, among others
colleges. Todd lives in Seminole with his remarkable wife Charlotte, and their constantly surprising and wonderful children Jonas, Corinna, and May.

JULIE ROWE* (Director of Education) holds a B.A. in Theatre Arts from Idaho
State University and has been a Teaching Artist throughout her career in
various venues including schools, camps, and workshops serving children aged 5
to 18. Julie served as the manager of The Front Row in NYC, a student
outreach program dedicated to enabling students to attend Broadway and
off-Broadway productions at affordable prices. While a resident of Nashville, Julie was
an adjunct professor in the musical theatre program at Belmont University and
an education coordinator at Tennessee Repertory Theatre. Julie received the
2005 Professional Achievement Award for Arts and Humanities from the College
of Arts at her alma mater, ISU, the 2005 United Way Tampa Bay “Volunteer of
the Year” Award, and a 2008 Individual Artist Professional Development Grant
from the Pinellas County department of Cultural Affairs. Julie is the Managing
Director of Economic Stimulus Productions and a member of the Board of
Trustees of freeFall Theatre Company and the Suncoast AIDS Theatre Project.

T. SCOTT WOOTEN (Artistic Associate) is originally
from the great state of Arkansas. He attended Arkansas State University
where he received a BFA in Theatre Directing and Performance. Upon graduation
he was offered an internship at American Stage Theatre Company in St.
Petersburg, Florida, which he proudly accepted, and soon after was offered a staff
position as Artistic Associate to Producing Artistic Director Todd Olson.
During the time at American Stage, he has been exposed to every facet of the
inner workings of a Professional Regional Theatre Company, and was awarded the Al
T. May Staff Member of the Year Award 2007. He is also a recent recipient
of the 2008 Pinellas County Individual Artist Grant Award. Tampa Bay
audiences have seen him act in a number of plays, including Thom Pain (based on
nothing), “Reefer Madness: The Play!!!, Suddenly Last Summer, All the Great Books
(abridged), and Hamlet; his direction in Sleuth, and the World Premiere
translation of Eugene Ionesco’s Rhinoceros featuring the distinguished members of
the American Stage’s Youth Ensemble. As a Sound Designer, he has created the
soundtrack for the American Stage productions of Gem of the Ocean, Othello,
Sleuth, By the Waters of Babylon, and A Tuna Christmas. His written work
includes Reefer Madness: The Play!!! (produced by Economic Stimulus
Productions), Mr. Wooten’s Big Nite! (produced by Quirky White Chicks Productions), An
Almost Unfortunate Occurance (produced by Eclectic Theatre Company), and The
Adventures of Ernie Tripe, Private Detective, Litter Division (produced by The Studio @ 620 and WMNF 88.5). Outside of American Stage, he is the Artistic Director of Economic Stimulus Productions (live theatre
fully-funded by the U.S. Government). Mr. Wooten wears and has worn many hats for the good of the theatre and will always serve this wondrous business.
Master Electrician/Shop Assistant
KATE BASHORE (Master Electrician/Shop Assistant) is thrilled to be joining
American Stage! A native of Virginia, she graduated from Wake Forest
University with a B.A. in Theatre in May 2007. Kate has worked as an electrician at
Seaside Music Theatre (Daytona Beach) and as a lighting designer at Playhouse
on the Square (Memphis) and Festival 56 (Princeton, IL). Special thanks to her
mom, family, and friends for all of their support and encouragement.
Production Coordinator
SCOTT COOPER# (Production Coordinator/Props Master) is a local
professional set and costume designer, a member of USAA, and 2006 and 2008
Weekly Planet “Best of the Bay” award winner for “Best Scenic Designer.” Recent local designs include Boston Marriage (Jobsite Theatre), HATS!! (Jaeb
Theatre--TBPAC), Sleuth and Betrayal (American Stage). As a scenic designer in
Chicago, he has twice been nominated for a Joseph Jefferson Award for “Outstanding Set Design” (Bus Stop and American Buffalo for American Theater
Company). While in Chicago, Scott worked on many productions at both the Steppenwolf
and Goodman Theaters and was a costume design assistant for the National
Tour of Angels in America. He has taught theatre classes at DePaul University,
Roosevelt University, Eckerd College, University of South Florida and St.
Petersburg College.
Master Carpenter
ROBERT CREEDON (Asst. Technical Director/Master Carpenter) is pleased to
return to St. Petersburg to be apart of the production staff here at American
Stage. He comes to American Stage from across the pond where he worked for a
number of years in London’s West End Theatre District. Prior to mastering the
Metric System, Robert worked here in Florida as a sailboat technician for SR
Max, and is pleased to have been apart of the team that constructed the “Geronimo’s Cadillac”, a 27ft production sailboat. Robert is also proud to have
been an IBM Sales Associate for Direct Alliance in Tempe, AZ.
