American Stage’s world class professional productions and quality education programs are made possible by your gifts to our Annual Fund.

For nearly 40 years, American Stage has set the standard for extraordinary productions of new and classic plays and musicals, representing a wide range of cultural viewpoints. American Stage strives to promote the future of American Theatre and to be an arts leader in the Tampa Bay region, contributing to the cultural landscape of our community.

Because ticket purchases cover only 60% of the cost of operating American Stage, your generous support is vital to the pursuit of our mission and our commitment to our community. Your contribution to the Act 1 Club Annual Fund provides the steady stream of support necessary to sustain a dynamic and diverse arts scene.

Please give as generously as you can to support the artistic quality of our award-winning productions, new play development initiatives, our high-quality education and outreach programs, and new apprenticeship program – an on-the-job training initiative preparing the next generation of theatre professionals.

Gifts of any size are welcome, but an annual contribution of $100 or more will be recognized through our Annual Fund membership program.

Act I Club members receive a variety of special event benefits, designed to bring them closer to the art and artists of American Stage, by contributing to the annual fund that supports American Stage Theatre’s operations year-round. Donor benefits include all levels up to and including your level of giving for a twelve month period.
