Staged reading of THESE ARMS OF MINE by Philip W. Hall in the American Stage lobby Monday 5/13 at 7pm.
ABOUT THE PLAY
Marshall Evans passed fifty many years ago. Attractive, vital, sharp of wit and tongue – he is usually able to take command whenever he likes. He’s wealthy and upper class and gay and not afraid to let anyone know about it. Problem is, his lover of thirty years, Judge Dashiell Kane, was shot and killed in their house three days ago.
Charley (Charlene Dickson is a woman in her thirties. She is the police detective sent to Marsh’s house to interview him. She and Marshall don’t move in the same circles .Marsh exhibits his wit, his capacity for alcohol, and his undying love for the judge – as Charley delves deep in an attempt to solve the crime.
