For the past decade The Laramie Project – a play about the death of Matthew Shepard in Wyoming - has been one of the most performed plays in America since 2000 and made into a movie by HBO. On the tenth anniversary of Matthew's death, The Laramie Project will be performed in a simultaneous reading led by Tectonic Theater Project in New York at the Lincoln Center and over 100 other theaters in all fifty states and around the world, including American Stage Theatre Company.

"American Stage is proud to be a part of this incredible project with Moisés Kaufman and our fellow theatres around the world with this performance of the Tectonic Theater Project's powerful tribute to Matthew Shepard," said Olson.

The cast includes: Reggie Robinson, T. Scott Wooten, Eric Davis, Brian Shea, Steve Garland, Matt McGee, Chris Swan, Todd Olson, Drew DeCaro, Richard Coppinger, Jen Rae, Magali Naas, Meg Heimstead, Becca McCoy, Roxanne Faye, Bonnie Agan, and Hersha Parady.
