American Stage Education continuously aims to provide opportunities for creative, intellectual, and emotional growth through inclusive and accessible programs that are transformative for students and communities.

Supporting one month’s wages for our professional School Tour actors, who perform for up to 20,000 students in Pinellas & Hillsborough County elementary schools each year (the largest audience of any American Stage production!).

Providing pay for 1 professional actor over the entire 10-week School Tour.

Providing a full house of subsidized tickets for a Student Matinee — a field trip for local middle and/or high school students to experience one of our Mainstage plays and participate in a chatback with the cast and crew.

Allowing for up to 30 students to actively participate in creating and performing theatre, by employing a Teaching Artist to lead an in-school residency such as our Write On! Drama Club or Playwriting Outreach Program.

Helping to make professional development in theatre accessible and inclusive by subsidizing housing costs for an American Stage apprentice, a young professional committed to working and learning with American Stage for a full season.

Empowering young people with inclusive quality arts education by providing financial aid for our Summer Theatre Programs, such as our 1-week Summer Camp sessions in acting, playwriting, voice, and more.

Providing 1 week of lunches for 3 Summer Camp financial aid recipients, making a quality arts education accessible to students and families in need.
